Williams was eventually developed as a suspect and just after 2 p.m. Wednesday, TPD officers with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Task Force, located him and attempted to conduct a traffic stop in front of TPD's East Precinct on University Boulevard East. Williams reportedly refused to stop, driving at speeds of up to 80 mph, before abandoning his car in the area of Third Place East in Alberta.
