Hard Rock Drummer with pro electronic* kit wanted.

HIGH-ENERGY ROCK, COVER/ORIGINAL BAND. Seeking seasoned drummer with the creative sensibility of drummers like Carmine Appice, Stuart Copeland, Rod Morganstein, Carter Beauford… Guitarist and bassist (mid 50s) putting together a high-energy rock, cover band with an original recording component. You should have chops, gig experience, be responsible (no substance abuse) and be able to collaborate. Our experience goes back to 80s and 90s edgy, melodic hard rock. Cover set will be big, attention grabbing covers from bands like Van Halen, The Cult, Grand Funk, STP, Scorpions, Social D, Weezer, Soundgarden, Aerosmith, T-Rex. This won’t be a cargo-shorts/ball cap garage band playing Santaria and Mustang Sally. Rehearse/record one (1) evening per week in Brighton, MA (on the Newton Corner line). Large comfortable, in-home rehearsal/recording studio with a very good practice PA, and recording gear, unfortunately, a loud acoustic kit won’t fly in my neighborhood. *Rehearsals have to be electronic.
