If you understand the title, you know we know and we know you know... We are an experienced guitarist and drummer looking for keys and bass to start an epic band! No plans to do a world tour, but rather get together, learn some difficult songs, and gig maybe once ever month or so. We are not trying to form a Genesis cover band (not opposed either), but that is definitely a big influence for the both of us. Other influences include Yes, King Crimson, Phish, Tull, Allmans, Snarky Puppy, James Brown, Gently Giant, ELP, The Dead, Return to Forever, Headhunters etc. We are about 20 years apart in age so there is a lot of knowledge between the two of us, we jammed once together as a duo and it worked, we just need the remaining pieces. Proud Mary? Hell no! Rockin in the free world? I don't think so! Apocalypse in 9/8-Yes! Tempus Fugit- Sure, lets open with that. An original that includes 7 time signatures- F*ck yea let's do it! You get the point. We are not stuck on prog but finding musicians that can handle a bit of prog is the level we are at. No vocals yet but if someone can sing that is an added benefit.
