Dom Famularo and Pete Magadini student here, and I'm looking for people to share the knowledge acquired from these two great drummers and teachers. I teach mainly over Zoom, Skype and other popular video chat platforms, but prefer Zoom or Skype. In person lessons may also be an option, depending on time of day and which day of the week. I teach Moeller, George L. Stone and Peter Magadini Polyrhythm studies. I will guide you through Stick Control and Accents and Rebounds as intended by the author of those books. You will learn how to sound like a pro no matter what you want to do with your drumming skills. Dom Famularo was a student of the late great Joe Morello who studied with George L. Stone the author of those books, so you will learn the correct way to play through them, which will benefit your drumming no matter your skill level or style. Dom also studied with other great well-known players such as Jim Chapin, Shelly Manne, Max Roach, Papa Joe Jones and Ted Reed the author of the classic book "Syncopation" Peter Charles "Pete" Magadini is an American drummer, percussionist, educator and author. He is known for his body of work (instructional books and videos) concerning the comprehension and execution of musical polyrhythms, especially the books The Musician's Guide to Polyrhythms and Polyrhythms for the Drumset. Magadini has recorded and performed with George Duke, Diana Ross, Bobbie Gentry, Al Jarreau, Buddy DeFranco, John Handy and Mose Allison. Beginning drummers are absolutely welcome as well as seasoned players who are looking to take their drumming to a higher skill level. First 30 minute lesson is always free.
