The University Club of Washington D.C. is a private social club. By attending this event, you will be considered a guest of Commonwealth and must abide by the rules of the clubhouse. PHONE All cell phones and other electronic devices must be set to silent mode in the Clubhouse. Calls must be made in a discreet manner, in designated locations, without disturbing others. Cell phones MAY NOT be used for calls or photography. Any calls that are disruptive to other Members, Guests or Visitors must be ended immediately, especially when requested to do so by an employee. ATTIRE The dress code in the Club is business casual, except in the in the Founders Pub and Pershing Grille where dress denim of a uniform color is acceptable. It will be permissible to traverse the lobby, main staircase and elevators in Dress Denim in order to access the above specified areas. Except for this transit exception (and existing exceptions for checking in/out and weekends), Dress Denim* is not allowed on the First Floor of the Clubhouse (other than during breakfast service in the Taft Dining Room). *Dress Denim must be of a uniform color, clean (e.g., "dirty look" jeans are prohibited), with no rips, tears, fraying or holes. LOCATION We will meet in the Pub on the second floor. Upon entering through the main door, traverse the lobby, and use the main staircase or elevators.
