Description
Cyanotype is a photographic process known for its gorgeous blue color. One of the oldest forms of photography, the cyanotype process uses the sun to make one-of-a-kind photograms.
In this introduction to cyanotype workshop, artist Amanda Cioffi will teach you the history and chemistry of the cyanotype process. You'll learn coating techniques, printing tips, and how to make your cyanotype last forever.
Each workshop participant will make (2) 8x10 cyanotype prints on paper.
Materials will be provided, but participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own chosen objects to photogram. Leaves, flowers, translucent, and interesting shaped objects make great subjects!
