Cal Poly Futures in Finance Day provides companies with a premier opportunity to meet and interview students who are looking for internships and full-time opportunities in the field of Finance. Moreover, Finance is the largest concentration within the Orfalea College of Business, consisting of over 400 highly qualified students. Cal Poly Finance students have consistently excelled on the CFA exam, with a pass rate of 80% compared to the average rate of 42%. Cal Poly’s learn by doing model allows our Finance students to obtain extensive amounts of hands-on experience relevant to the business world. Last year we had roughly 300 student attendees and 28 companies. This year we hope to grow this event, which is why we have collaborated with Cal Poly Real Estate, Cal Poly Fintech, and Cal Poly Consulting to broaden the level of student talent
