Description

The Rainbow Elders provides a noontime meal to LGBTIQA people 60 years of age and older, their friends, and any supportive members of the public at large. Elders can be joined for lunch by their spouse of any age or an individual with a disability who lives in the same household as the elder. The event will be held outdoors under a tent. Heavy rain will cause us to postpone one day. A donation of $3 will be suggested to elders and their supporters. Younger people will be asked to contribute $8. Additional program donations are always welcomed.  No one will be turned away for lack of funds. The event is supported by the Older Americans Act, the MA Executive Office of Elder Affairs, and LifePath. Alternate menu items will gladly be provided, if they are requested in advance and we can manage to obtain them. You are also welcome to bring your own lunch. Social distancing and mask wearing is strongly encouraged. Please default to mask wearing unless the entire group agrees otherwise.
