Captive bred Florida Blue garter snake. (Proof of purchase from breeder can be provided if necessary.) This snake is not wild caught!
This colubrid is about 6 months old and about 16 inches long. Very healthy and active, eats extra small pinky mice. It is social, living with another baby snake. By the way this one is growing and the length of the tail, it is a guess this snake is female but we are not sure.
The blue color gets more intense as they grow older.
These snakes are interesting, easy to keep, and different than the usual corn snakes, boas and pythons, etc. They do not get large. Many will hunt fish and eat them in captivity but I trained this one to eat mice for correct nutrition. (Feeding a fish-only diet can cause thiamine deficiencies if not fed the correct fish.)
Looking for a home with a person with experience with snakes.
Asking $150 to get back associated costs. Will consider REASONABLE offers. NO lowball offers.
No trades.
