Catholic Charities invites you to support a very special fundraiser: MUSIC BRINGS HOPE IV Saturday, October 1st 5-9pm Grand Arbor Botanic Garden and Sculpture Park Riverside 92504 The evening will include live music of diverse genres with locally catered food. We are especially excited about this fundraiser in that the majority of the proceeds from the event will support our efforts to bring relief to those living in poverty by upgrading the kitchen at our Center of Hope in Riverside as required by city health & safety codes. The kitchen is essential for our Neighbor2Neighbor Café Program staffed by volunteers that serve 100-120 hot, “homemade” breakfasts every Saturday morning for the local homeless and needy neighborhood families. The evening's music will include Folk music with acoustic guitars, Country, Blues and Classic Rock in a relaxed garden environment. The grounds were originally polo grounds in what is now the middle of Riverside, master gardeners have transformed the property into a gorgeous botanical garden named "Grand Arbor Botanic Garden and Sculpture Park". Catered food will be served by local small family-owned minority business, Grams BBQ. Craft beer, wine, and soft drinks will be available for purchase. A portion of each ticket may be tax-deductible.
