Self-care: Making the time in a busy world.
We’ve all learned about the importance of self-care, but how do we actually fit it into our lives and make it stick? Self-care practices are behaviors that requires planning, reinforcement, and practice to make them apart of our on-going behavioral repertoire. Through this training, you will learn how to decide on the best area of self-care focus, how to plan to fit self-care into your life, and how we can ensure we’ll continue with it long after the desire to do it “because it’s good for me” burns off.
Objectives:
1. This workshop is designed to help you assess, analyze, and plan your own self-care practices.
2. Participants will be able to measure their current self-care practices using an assessment tool.
3. Participants will be able to design a self-care practice plan.
4. Participants will be able to identify ways they can ensure their self-care practices will continue.
