researchED United States on October 22, 2022 in Frederick, Maryland We are excited to announce the return of researchED United States for its first visit to historic Frederick, Maryland! We have a diverse lineup of presenters from across the US and Europe sharing their knowledge of research and practice in education. Presenters include teachers, school administrators, researchers, and authors on a wide range of session topics. Held at the beautiful Frederick High School in downtown Frederick, it promises to be a day of research-informed excitement! Venue: Frederick High School, 650 Carroll Parkway, Frederick, MD Event Information: Friday, October 21, 2022 - Welcome Reception with researchED founder, Tom Bennett 6 - 7:30 p.m. Hood College, Hodson Auditorium and Whitaker Campus Commons 401 Rosemont Avenue, Frederick, MD 21701 Saturday, October 22, 2022 - researchED United States at Frederick High School 8:15 a.m. - Registration 9:00 a.m. - Opening Keynote followed by sessions running until 5 p.m. Coffee/tea, lunch, and cookie break will be provided. Saturday, October 22, 2022 - post-event fun with new (and old) researchED friends 6:30 p.m. - last call Various locations in beautiful, historic downtown Frederick Cost: $45 per person $40 for pre-service educators How to Get Here: By Car: Venue is easily accessible from Rts. 70, 270, and 15; plenty of free parking is available. By Air: We’re 32 miles from Washington Dulles, and 43 miles away from both BWI/Marshall and Reagan National Airports. By Bus: Our partners at The CTTL will host a bus from the Grosvenor rail station (Washington, DC Metrorail) to Frederick and back. By Train: MARC Train service is available Monday - Friday in downtown Frederick on the Brunswick Line to and from Union Station in Washington, DC. Where to Stay: A hotel block for researchED is available now!
