Andrew DuhonGrammy-nominated songwriter Andrew Duhon is making a stop at Dave's Pub for an intimate solo acoustic set with special guest John Hollier.Andrew Duhon is a songwriter whose weighted, soulful songs feel like a sweet spot between his hometown of New Orleans and the familiar landmarks of Americana Music. No Depression calls Duhon "A soulmate of Van Morrison lyrically and vocally." He followed his 2013 Grammy Nominated album, "The Moorings," with a new record released called "False River,” released in 2018. During the quarantine, Duhon wrote and shared twenty-two new songs as a “Quarantine Song” video series, and 20 more exclusively on his Patreon site. His newest album, “Emerald Blue,” features eleven of those songs and is scheduled to be released in July 2022.
John Hollier
Originally from Louisiana and now making his way to Nashville, the country and Americana songwriter John Hollier, known as simply Hollier (“Ole-ee-Yay”), brings a bold and refreshing wave to the indie world. Blending retro guitar with a lively country feel, Hollier brought the heat while backing up artists such as Cassadee Pope, Carly Pearce, Levi Hummon, Logan Brill, and many more. While on tour, he found that songwriting had become a vessel to explain the highs and lows, as well as the comparisons of camaraderie and monotony after meeting so many people in so many different places.
