While no final decision has been executed on whether to bring charges against President Joe Biden’s son, sources say a probe has intensified in recent months along with discussions among Delaware-based prosecutors, investigators running the probe, and officials at Justice Department headquarters. According to a source inside the DOJ, Hunter Biden was the target of a grand jury investigation. Suspects are only identified as such when there is an extremely high likelihood they committed a crime. The federal investigation into Hunter Biden was predicated, in part, by Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) regarding suspicious foreign transactions. Many of these transactions originated from China and Ukraine.
