Small berry farm just outside Sebastopol with a great working environment is hiring multiple harvesters for the 2020 harvesting season which will run from Mid-July through Mid-October. We harvest in the morning for 4-5 hours, two days per week on Monday and Thursday and you must be available both days. No experience required. We will provide on-the-job training. Again, we harvest on Monday and Thursday mornings for 4-5 hours and you must be available both days. Berry harvesting is light work! :) Most of the fruit is picked between the shoulder and the knee, and picking buckets only weigh up to about five pounds when they need to be emptied into harvest flats. Harvesters must be comfortable working outdoors, reliable, hard working and have reliable transportation to and from the farm. Work Days & Times: Four-to-five hour shifts on Monday and Thursday mornings. Start times are weather dependent. On extremely hot days we may start as early as 7am and finish by 10 or 11am.
