Found dog needs permanent or temporary home ASAP

My friends and I found this dog today scared and alone. After searching though lost and found pages multiple posts were made that this dog was left in this AWFUL heat for atleast 4 days without food water and shelter. His nails and hair show signs of neglect and we are guessing he's alittle older. His age makes me hesitant to bring him to the humane society due to dogs who aren't fairly young don't always find homes. ideally my friends and I would like to keep him but the process of approval from apartments and family situations it would take a bit of time to sort through and I know finding people to foster isn't easy either. If that's something you'd be interested in doing I would love to work something out. If not we would love for him to find a loving home! So far when he calmed down we learned he loves to cuddle specifically being little spoon for long periods of time. He is so mellow! since being here he has been curious but mostly eager to relax and spend time indoors with loving people. He will let you hold, hug or hang on him with enthusiasm and he won't budge. He's full of personality and doesn't show a single sign of aggression he probably would even eat a fly. overall he looks healthy and happy to be alive with a little pepp in his step 💛 We think he's alab mix and he's a very tiny dude a medium sized dog but with a small frame. I have less then a few days before he will have to be taken to the shelter if all else fails and I think he deserves more then the crate he would be put in.
