BO, shelter number D20-11018, is a young Brittany Spaniel mix male. He is about one year old and weighs about 30 to 35 pounds. He was surrendered by his owner to the shelter for unknown reasons. BO is a little shy when he meets new people at first, but he warms up quickly when you show him some love and care. He walks well on leash and does love attention. He should fit into just about any household and make a good pet with just alittle adjustment time. He should be good with kids of any age. He should be good with other dogs as he enjoyed visiting with the other shelter dogs through the chain link fence in the runs. BO is a pretty rugged dog but has short hair and won’t tolerate cold weather very well. We hope his new family can find a place for him to sleep indoors, especially in the winter. He would love to be included in family activities anytime, indoors or out. Levelland Animal Control is understaffed right now and adoptions are by appointment only. It is unclear right now if they are making appointments for Saturdays and Sundays. You can ask and see what they say. All our dogs are vaccinated for Parvo, distemper, Bordetella (kennel cough) and most other common dog diseases. We do not vaccinate them for Rabies. There is no adoption fee, but the adopter will be responsible for having the dog spayed or neutered and for the Rabies shot. Check the Google map for directions to the shelter.
