If you're looking for: -A family pet -A companion for your playful pup or -A farm/large property dog then we have the perfect dog for you! Stella is an energetic, sweet 1.5 year old husky mix. She LOVES other dogs, loves to play, loves to run around and play fetch. She would be a wonderful family dog to wear your kids out and teach them responsibility. She is good with cats and respects boundaries with cats and dogs. She would do best with kids 8+. She is spayed and vaccinated with no known medical conditions. I am a foster for BARC, so a formal application through their website is required as well as a small rehoming fee, per their rules. This ranges between $20-50 usually, depending on what adoption special is currently running. Stella needs: a home with a secure fence (huskies are known escape artists), a place to run around and play and/or someone willing to walk/run with her daily, and social interaction. She is a very social dog and will get depressed if left alone. She requires air conditioning, so either an indoor/outdoor pet or an indoor pet, as huskies are not equipped for the Texas heat. She currently has a dog door to our AC'ed laundry room; this kind of set up would work well for her. We are willing to travel out of state to deliver her, if the ideal home is out of state. She would be on the euthanasia list at the city pound without a foster, but we know she deserves a good home, as she's a great dog!
