Event assistant for DJ/Event company needed

Our highly rated Event/DJ business is expanding and we are in need of another Event Assistant! This is a fun job that can be extremely rewarding (you get to help make brides & grooms dreams come true). Nearly all events are on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings and will work for most student's schedules (we are very flexible on scheduling for events). The main purpose of the job will be to help coordinate events the day-of. This means making sure brides & grooms, photographers and anyone else important are where they need to be when they need to be there. You will be trained on all of this and have the DJ there the entire time to answer any questions you have. Besides this, you will need to be able to help setup equipment before the event and take it down after. It is possible you may need to help run the photo booth for some events as well. A lot of the event time will just be hanging out, watching people dance and have a good time, so enjoying weddings is a plus! Free wedding food is included at every one we do too. We also perform at several proms (and other formals) every year. No prior experience or formal resume required. Please reach out with an explanation of why you think you would be a good fit.
