Mission Bay Chevrolet / Volkswagen is hiring a Parts Runner. As the Parts Runner, you'll play a key role delivering parts internally to technicians in the quickest manner possible. BENEFITS: • Local family owned and operated • In business at same location for 40+ years • Hiring priority is to promote from within • Stable workforce • Extremely knowledgeable staff • Positive work environment • Committed to community involvement at all levels • Discount on parts and service for employees • Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance • Paid Vacation • Paid Sick time • 401(k) ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES • Providing safe, timely and correct parts deliveries • Deliver parts internally to Service Technicians • Maintaining professional attitude, conduct and appearance • Assist in the Parts Department as necessary • Perform safe pick up and deliveries • Keep parts department up-to-date on delivery schedule • Perform all other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS • Valid Driver's license with a good driving record and the ability to maintain it • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Good working relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient and professional service • Ability to lift 50 lbs • Ability to repeatedly bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves with the use of a stool or ladder when necessary • High school diploma or equivalent • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and back ground check
