Best Part time job ever! We need to fill a part-time delivery position (mid-week 2-3 days) for RentOxygen.com. You would need reliable transportation (you get paid mileage) and be able to lift 25+ pounds (oxygen machine). As long as one can respond quickly to phone calls (a few each day or night), it is a pretty easy job. Calls would be routed to your cell phone, which of course they can receive from anywhere (home, gym, mountain, around town). Some days there are no deliveries/pick-ups and other days maybe 3-5 deliveries or more. Most deliveries are in the Vail Valley but every so often a trip to Summit county or Glenwood Springs would be required. As you get paid mileage for these trips, the compensation is good. You’ll be working pretty independently and need a professional appearance and dress. Great customer service skills are required. Must be located in the upper Vail Valley due to quick response time required. However, we are also looking for an “as needed” person in northern Summit County (Silverthorne/Frisco/Keystone/Dillon). For hours worked, the job probably averages around $50 per hour. That is BEFORE any mileage reimbursement (62.5 cents per mile). Duties: Taking orders – via phone/fax/internet Delivery of oxygen machines at guest accommodations and hospitals in Vail Valley and Summit County Pickup of oxygen machines Drop off and pick-up of equipment at Warehouse Paperwork Monitor email/fax/phone for referrals/orders/requests and communicate with fellow staff. Rates: $50.00 per day on call when you “have the phones” $15.00 an hour Setup bonus for each set-up with a client. 8 am – 6 pm $35.00 6 pm – 9 pm $70.00 9 pm – 8 am $145.00 For example, on a medium day where you worked 3 hours total and had 2 set-ups and 1 pick-up… $50 on call, $45 hourly, $35 X 2 set-ups = $165.00 This is BEFORE any mileage reimbursement.
