Hey there, My name is James and I am looking to play with some like minded musicians. Found some talented local ones but the chemistry and schedules didn't line up so I am putting myself out there again. I'd like to find some good improvisational chemistry and work towards playing a mix of original and cover tunes with a goal of gigging locally once a month or so. I'm 42, have a day job and looking to make some good musical friends and have some fun. Nothing more serious than that unless we really stumble upon something exceptional. I play and enjoy most types of music but am not particularly skilled at jazz. I skew towards Funk/Rock/Reggae/Fusion material. Some things that have been on my playlist recently include Three Legged Fox, John Butler Trio, The Revivalists, Stick Figure, RHCP, State Radio, Passafire. I really enjoy jamming situations where the music unfolds through listening and responding to other's musical ideas. I have my own gear and a nice practice space in my house.
