The Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) is the most prestigious and widely recognized of the many TEFL/TESOL certificates.
IH San Diego is offering two more intensive four-week in-person CELTA training courses in 2022:
August 29 - September 23
September 26 - October 21
While there are an abundance of TEFL/TESOL certificates, very few emphasize real, hands-on learning. The CELTA requires all participants to teach for a total of six hours at two distinct levels: one above intermediate and one below. Additionally, participants must observe experienced teachers teach for a total of six hours.
By the time you are certified, you already have real experience teaching! IH San Diego also assists graduates with job placement.
