Description
I’m not sure where to start this, as I’ve never casted a net in this fashion before. I’m a 27-year-old man looking for a mentor. I’m seeking a mentor because I’ve had a few in the past and I’ve relished some of the lessons I’ve pulled out of them. Unfortunately, these mentors and I have agreed that in a sense, we’ve outgrown one another. The relationship has transitioned from mentor/mentee to friends.
I feel it’s worth mentioning what I spend most of my time doing. I work non-standard hours in healthcare. I have a wife of one year. In my free time I’m typically participating in some sort of endurance sport, running being my favorite. I enjoy learning about the intricacies of our world, typically through reading.
I don’t have any hardlines as to what I’m seeking in a mentor, I just ask that you be genuine. With that being said, I’m not looking to replace a relationship with a parent. My relationship with my mother and father is warm, heartfelt, and still nurturing today, and I’m not looking to recreate it. I’m simply curious about some of the lessons you may have learned through your life.
If you feel like you may be someone who has the capacity to be a mentor, or know someone who may, please feel free to reach out.
Thanks for taking the time to read this,
Cheers.
