Description

I have a year and a half old 50lbs pitbull I got for a compainion for my elderly saint bernard a few months ago. His name is bear and he is a sweet heart; I didn't want to rehome him but he isn't the right fit with my St.bernard. Before coming to my house bear was kept in a backyard 24/7 and no one ever really spent anytime teaching him any manners or giving him the attention he deserves. because of this he plays way to hard with my elderly dog and that makes me nervous at times that he could accidentally injure my dog who can't keep up with bear. Bear needs a home who has the ability to work with him on his training and manners while also giving him the love and attention he deserves. he probably would not do well with small children because he does like to jump and I've been trying to work with him on that. he is trainable though, he has learned to sit and shake in the couple months he's been here. I don't recommend his new home having any elderly dogs because bear is strong and plays hard with other dogs. if there are other dogs in the home they should be younger and strong, able to keep up with him. Bear is very sweet and lovable, he likes cuddles and walks and mostly just to always be around people. Bear had a rough start in life and his puppy personality has been misunderstood. He will make a great dog for a family who has time a love to work with him. Email me if you think your home would be perfect for Bear. I can also send more pictures and answer anymore questions.
