The position of Vessel Tech supports the Pressure Vessel Filtration Team by processing fiberglass barrels to the Work Order specifications detailed on the engineered drawing. The Tech role will cut the barrel to specified lengths and add ports, flanges, and drains onto the barrel as specified. This will require the use of most hand tools to include grinders, sanders, saws, etc. 90% of this job is performed indoors in an air-conditioned work center.
This role will require you to be proficient with measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and levels.
The responsibilities of this position are to process the fiberglass barrel within the time allotted by the work order and to maintain the manufacturing deadline for delivery of the order.
Assist with the assembly process of the FRP vessels which will include utilizing a pipe threader, PVC & CPVC parts assembly and crating outbound product.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and securing all tools at end of day clean up.
Anyone with previous work experience in rough in or industrial plumbing, auto body work or home remodel would do well in this role if you are committed to the Team. The duties of this role will also require the use of PPE such as face shield, filtration mask, steel toed boots, gloves and full body protective coveralls if needed.
