Job details Salary From $17 an hour Job Type Full-time Part-time Qualifications * US work authorization (Required) * High school or equivalent (Preferred) * Day Shift (Preferred) * Night Shift (Preferred) Full Job Description Small local boutique meadery looking for a assistant brewer and bottler (counter pressure) and kegging as well. This position requires the ability to work in a fast paced environment, and a flexible schedule. This job requires a person who is able to be punctual and reliable on a day to day basis. Relevant education and/or experience is a plus. Bottle line experience is a plus. Operator with prior bottling, brewery/soda manufacturing experience is ideal. Knowledge of various bottling techniques is a plus.. but not necessary. Duties include: The ability to think independently, solve problems and innovate Conduct transfers of mead from fermentation vessels to bright beer tanks. CIP of fermentation, conditioning, and bright beer tanks. Cleaning kegs. Able to load and strap down a pallet. Labeling bottles. Taping boxes. A positive work ethic. Effective communication skills. Ability to work alone or with a team. Ability to work under pressure and with deadlines. Experience with using CO2 tanks- hooking up and disconnecting. Hours are very flexible. * Must able to lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly, and to maneuver heavier items such as 160 lb. kegs on occasion. to stand for 1-3 hours at a time, and work in a wet and loud production environment, with chemicals of varying composition. Work in a production environment filling kegs and bottles, labeling bottles, taping boxes. Ability to climb ladder.
