Drummer, recently relocated from Buffalo, NY to Lecanto, FL which is located just above Tampa in Natures Coast. Between Inverness and Ocala in Citrus County. I' m trying to stay within 25 mi of Lecanto if possible. I'm looking to get into a SERIOUS minded, working, or close to working band. Below is my brief Bio. I don't have an EGO of any sort. Very flexible and work with others very well. Very committed, dedicated, serious musician with great communication. To me Communication is a key element in a band. Looking for the same. I'm laid back to a point. Looking for a band who wants to work at least 2 x's per month. I’m open to rehearsing twice a week if there is progress, and we get comfortable with each other. I have professional gear, and my own transportation. Please contact me if interested. I do have some Mp'3 of my former band on Band Mix so you can get an idea of what I sound like. My preferences are Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Party Rock, Grunge, Alternative, Newer Country of today. NO addictions whatsoever be it alcohol or street drugs. ABOUT ME: I am a self-taught drummer. Born and raised in Lackawanna, NY. I am 61 yrs. of age. I started playing drums at the age of 6 and professionally in the W.N.Y. musical circuit at the age of 14. Fill-in- with a variety of bands playing weddings, parties, outdoor events with several different bands. After realizing my niche is of the rock genre, I founded a classic and heavy rock band named Bad Attitude in the mid-80s which went very well but unfortunately life happened, splitting us up with the members going in different directions. I have also co-founded the classic, heavy, alternative rock band, S.O.L. in 1999-2001. In 2002 I’ve moved to Canada briefly to work with such bands as 4 Play, Frosted White and Why B Normal (from St. Catharine’s and Niagara Falls, Canada playing a wide variety of genres) in 2003 I moved back to Buffalo and was invited to work with the Classic Rock, Hard Rock Band Dogg House. In between bands I briefly worked with such local acts as Passion Works, SKY and Rock Bottom, just to name a few. In 2005 I was hired to work with a Classic Rock, Southern rock, and Blues band, named STRETCH, which was renamed Second Chance in 2016, I co-founded the band, JB and The Center Street Band. Unfortunately, very recently we have disbanded due to me relocating and difference of opinions. So, now I am looking again. If interested, please contact me.
