* Seeking Fudge & Chocolate Sales Representatives *Event Name: Otakon Anime Convention *Event Location: Walter E. Washington Convention Center 801 Mt Vernon Pl NW, Washington, DC 20001 *Event Dates/Times: Friday: Show 12p-8p Saturday: Show 10p-6p Sunday: Show 10a-3p Copper Coast Confections is looking to hire representatives to assist our staff with the sales and booth operations at the Otakon Anime event! Copper Coast Confections is a gourmet fudge and hand-crafted artisan chocolate company with a superhero twist! We bring over 20 flavors of gourmet fudge, Belgian chocolates including hand-painted artisan truffles, pecan caramel turtles, almond toffee, and superhero pops! We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic team-oriented individuals near Washington, DC to represent our brand. New hires will assist with sampling and product sales, active customer service roles and additional duties of a successful booth. We look for representatives that can engage with customers while capturing chocolate sales and promoting our brand in a fast-paced environment. *Job Requirements: . Excellent sales service to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction . Personable and outgoing with good mix of people skills . Open availability for the duration of the event hours . Follows all recommended health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for product handling (trained on-site) . Maintain presentable appearance of display in assigned areas . Basic math skills and ability to make change on cash transactions . Physically able to stand for duration of the shift *Preferred Skills: . Prior retail sales or brand ambassador experience (Service industry professionals, wait staff, and bartenders have been great additions to our team in the past) . “Go the extra mile” to cross/upsell products and actively engage with potential customers . Maintains a positive and collected demeanor during periods of high volume/activity *Compensation: Cash pay daily is $16 per hour plus tips. Any successful hire will be given first choice at working with our team at any upcoming DC area events. . We will extend an offer of 25% off of any items sold at our booth! *Dress Code: Business casual with a clean and presentable appearance. Please wear comfortable closed-toed shoes. *Parking: Company will reimburse for parking costs-please remember to get a receipt. *Event Entry: Representatives receive ONE exhibitor’s pass which will allow you to enter the event each day and afterhours activities if you so choose. Do not lose this pass! *Timeliness: Please allow yourself plenty of time to park and get settled in on the first day of the event. Be at the booth ready to work at the time listed. *Breaks: You will get a 30-minute UNPAID lunch break, but you provide your own meals.
