Hello, I am unfortunately posting this to rehome my Great Dane/ German Shepherd mix, Max due to no fault of his own. I got him about a year ago as a companion for my other dog. Even after a year, they do not get along as well as they should. My other dog guards me, all the toys, and generally is a bully towards him- despite efforts to try and stop it. He doesn’t ever retaliate to her but I feel like it’s unfair to him. He is extremely cuddly and wants nothing more than all the attention you can give. He does need to learn some manners, but he’s been pretty trainable so far- and he’s only about 2 years old. He knows how to wait for his food until you tell him to go, he’s potty trained, not bad on his leash (just a little ADHD and doesn’t know what a straight line is, but won’t pull much on purpose). He knows sit, and how to shake with either paw. He is fairly high energy, but is very content to lay on the couch with you and sleep. He’s neutered, about 80lbs, and I will be getting a fresh set of shots for him before he goes to anyone. I’d like to see him go to a home with a full fenced yard. He’s tall!
