Injection Molding technician position will include benefits. Must have at least 6 months prior experience working with injection or blow molding equipment. Job is located in Elk Grove Village Il. Essential Functions: • Sets up and operates injection molding machines to mold plastic products according to specifications. • Processing and monitoring of new and/or existing product • Ability to perform necessary adjustments for quality products • Ensure production requirements are being achieved • Ensure compliance with documented work procedures • Provide necessary training to departmental personnel • Investigate all reported workplace injuries/illnesses and prepare related reports in the absence of the Foreman – Shift Supervisor • Maintain appropriate communication between shifts • Prepare work orders for tool room and/or equipment maintenance for submission to Foreman – Shift Supervisor • Ensure proper lock out/tag out procedures are followed by all appropriate personnel • Ensure proper and complete documentation of machine start-up and shut-down activities when applicable • Maintain good housekeeping practices • Requires regular attendance in accordance with scheduled shift time and days; as well as compliance with Attendance Policy Other Duties: • Stop machines and/or production due to machine concerns or safety violations in the absence of the Foreman – Shift Supervisor • Ensure compliance of all departmental personnel with Company policies and procedures • Provide service to internal customers and comply with all Company policies and procedures • Performs related work within the general knowledge, skills and abilities set forth or as assigned by Manager. • Requires lifting of objects as part of the job.
