Position: Piano & Musical Instrument Delivery & Moving Objective: A mover works as part of a team to prepare, transport and set up musical instruments in customer homes, businesses, company showroom or for storage. Essential Functions / Responsibilities: Training provided. Prepare, receive and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure safe and timely service. Assist driver/mover with maintaining logs of travel and goods according to federal and state regulations. Maintain secure and confidential handling of customer documents and payments. Assist driver/mover with truck inspections and inventory of moving equipment. Assist driver/mover with daily move tasks/assignments. Adhere to scheduled work hours. Load, secure and unload goods. Maintain contact with other staff to receive pertinent information such as notice of changes in scheduled delivery or pick up. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions. Follow procedures outlined in Safety Guide to perform duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards. Recommend changes and updates to Safety Guide as applicable. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk. Safety equipment is provided to employees. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This position can be part-time (20+ hours per week) or full-time (30+ hours per week). Typical hours are Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. Occasional Saturday 9am - 3pm. Travel is primarily located throughout the state during the working hours. Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED One year of relevant experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrate competencies to perform the job.
