FACILITY CARETAKER Part-time facility caretaker sought for general cleaning duties, as-needed maintenance tasks and occasional special projects. The ideal candidate can work independently, is reliable and consistent, easy to work with and trustworthy. We are a dog training facility, so our employees must be comfortable with dogs and non-judgmental toward dogs on the basis of breed. Our business is committed to force-free, humane training and handling practices and would expect employees to adhere to this ethical and professional commitment to any of the dogs in our care. Although you will not be working with dogs in this position, they may be around sometimes while you are working. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience with professional cleaning Able to lift 50lbs Able to be standing/moving for 2-3 hours at a time PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES Timeliness Attention to detail Reliable Professional communication skills Willing to adhere to health & safety guidelines for our business Able to work independently JOB DUTIES Vacuuming Mopping/Disinfecting floors Washing dishes Dusting Cleaning bathrooms Removing trash/recycling Replacing paper products & soap Alert manager to cleaning supplies running low Miscellaneous cleaning/organizing or other projects HOURS (subject to change depending on programming schedules) MW 7:30-8:30am Th 4-5pm F 7-8:30am Sat 8-9am 5.5 hrs per week
