Position Overview: As the Team Lead you are at a Master level and are expected to mentor fellow team members. This can be a supervisory level for the right candidates. Your skill set allows you to take a problem, own it, and see it through to completion in a safe, responsible, and thorough fashion. You have the ability to address any issue that arises with care and thoughtfulness. You take ownership of job sites and our processes while honing your skills further to keep up with ever changing technology and process. No job is too small when it comes to moving the entire team forward. Qualifications: Valid Driver’s License, acceptable driving record & reliable transportation Team player who is able to communicate and work well with others Uncompromising attention to detail Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions Ability to work in a high stress - fast paced environment Must consider safety and courtesy high priorities Willingness to learn and develop new skills Must demonstrate a skill set including and above Groundsman 2 Responsibilities Include (but not limited to): Proficient Groundsman 2 Little to no supervision Ability to enforce safety and effectively delegate tasks to employees in the field Daily oversight of employees under supervision Record / manage work orders & time management on job sites Record / manage employees time (In/Lunch/Out) Responsible for tool inventory & needed products Record / manage daily insights, improvements and equipment needs / breakdowns Responsible for equipment status and communication of needed services Ability and motivation to take ownership of complex tree removals/pruning Ability to prioritize completion of all projects in a timely manner Trainer on processes and safety for all employees under supervision Knowledge of and the ability to operate, maintain and transport mini skid
