Facilities Maintenance Technicians maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical, mechanical equipment and systems. Facilities Maintenance Technicians utilize technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills, while working as a team with the entire Facilities Operations and Maintenance departments, performing general maintenance duties, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance as needed and assigned. Responsibilities Maintaining and troubleshooting any issues related to the facility. Perform plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC and Inspect on building systems Work on projects throughout the entire facility running conduit, pulling wire and connecting devices, using lifts and ladders Continues to perform equipment repairs and similar duties that require no oversight or direction Uses complex electrical schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot and correct problems Consulting manuals, reading, and interpreting circuit diagrams, blueprints, and schematics Repairing and adjusting system components or removing and replacing defective parts Displays positive attitudes and practices good work ethics that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company Provides excellent customer service Complete tasks in a timely manner and provide feedback Requirements Must have a minimum of 5+ years related work experience as an Industrial or Manufacturing Technician Knowledge in using hand tools, electrical meter, and testing equipment Previous manufacturing experience is preferred Ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and P&ID drawings Experienced in handling low to high voltage up to 480 VAC Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed Strong knowledge in troubleshooting of motor controls, drives, and electronic components Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics Ability to work in high elevation up to 80 ft.
