Description

Position Title: Shop Assistant/Driver Key Responsibilities: Adheres to policies and procedures and helps update and improve them Provides material, equipment, fabricated products and services that meet or exceed both internal and external customer requirements Performs fabrication operations as required Assists in maintaining tool tracking and equipment Assists in maintaining inventory including identifying shortages/overstocks of inventory items Receives/unloads trucks and correctly identifies and stores materials in proper locations Picks material from inventory to fulfill orders for projects Cleans and organizes shop for efficient workflow Drives company trucks to job sites and delivers material Assists in job site pick-ups/clean ups Maintains a good driving record and obeys traffic laws in company vehicles Performs other duties as assigned Experience and Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Driver’s License; Class B License Other Qualifications: Must have excellent interpersonal and customer services skills, and maintain a positive attitude while dealing professionally with co-workers, clients, vendors, etc. Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
