PLEASE HELP ME!! I HAVE LESS THAN 24 HRS. TO LIVE! I'M KID AND DOG FRIENDLY! Set for euthanasia 7/21 5 pm! I have not done nothing wrong! I'm just struggling in my kennel. The shelter WILL euthanize me on time, so please take this seriously, and come meet me at the East Valley Maricopa Animal Care Center, 2630 W. Rio Salado Pkwy Mesa, AZ 85201 (Hours Mon-Friday 12-6pm and Sat-Sunday 12-5pm). You can also call for assistance. STRESS!!...It’s sad what I am doing in my kennel!! I am so frustrated and upset that I repeatedly bark even when the kennel area is quiet. It is inhumane to keep me here any longer!! Can you save my life? I'm a sweet girl!! I have been at this noisy, chaotic place since March 2022. I am finally breaking down from living in a concrete kennel at this old shelter with limited opportunities to be out! I am a spayed 5-year-old, brindle, German Shepherd Mix (43.2 lbs.). I was found wandering in a neighborhood for about 5 days. I was a bit shy of the adults initially that found me, but I did great with their kids! I warmed up quickly. I am a volunteer favorite! They say I walk great on-leash, like treats, and lean in for pets and to get my back rubbed. I “sit” for treats and take them politely. I like being in the kiddie pool. I haven’t had a dog-to-dog assessment, but my notes say I have been non-reactive to other dogs while being walked at the shelter. I am a loving girl that wants more than anything to be part of a family! Will you please come and meet me before the shelter takes my life away? I would hate for this to be how it ends for me!
