They must be able to manage their time effectively and be a problem solver. Dependability and ability to work individually with minimal supervision or on a team is a must. They must be able to oversee and manage a life cycle of 40-50 open orders on a weekly basis and coordinate accurate order/lead times with all departments. This teammate will successfully navigate QuickBooks to facilitate and manage purchasing/receiving with high level detail and accuracy. QuickBooks training provided. A few qualifications this integral person must possess are: · The ability to prioritize and multitask at a high volume of work. · Being a team player with high attention to detail is a requirement. This position works closely with each department to make sure they have the supplies/materials for future jobs. · Superb professional communication and organizational skills. A day in the life of the Purchasing Agent would be: · Consistently updating and monitoring raw material costs in our CRM platform. · Oversee stock room and maintain adequate inventory with substantial level of turnover. · Continuously research new market trends and price increases/opportunities. · Produce accurate and timely crating and shipping quotes. · Work with the installation crews to ensure they have accurate and sufficient materials on their trucks to complete their jobs each day. · Work with the Accounting Manager reconciling vendor bills and purchase orders.
