We are so excited to host our second annual IPA Fest at West Sixth! Join us Saturday, August 6th for a day full of IPAs! You’ll get seven, 5oz pours of whichever IPAs speak to you – and a taster glass to take home! Pick 4 & Full Pours: $16 pre-sale, $23 day of - This one is for all y’all who want bigger pours! You’ll get four, five oz pours of your choice, two full pours, & a glass to take home! Tickets are sold by location (Louisville, Farm, & Lexington – please make sure you’re buying in the right locaton)! Questions? Feel free to email us at [email protected] – we’ll get back to ya!! -- IPA FEST BEERS: Familiar Faces West Sixth IPA - 7% ABV - you know it, you love it, it’s the best-selling IPA in the state of Kentucky, and our all-time fav. This classic West Coast Style IPA boasts citrus & pine, with a malt backbone that showcases the hops! Clocking in at 7% ABV – this is a must have for newcomers, and a go-to for West Sixth fans! Hop Static Ch. 5 - 7.5% ABV - We may have changed the channels, but we can’t sleep on our big & bold Hop Static ch. 5! Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, & Calypso Hops are balanced by a bready malt profile. You’ll get notes of tropical fruit & citrus, with a crisp finish to round it out! Hop Static Ch. 6 - 7.5% ABV - Our newest hop static channel is another iteration of a classic West Coast IPA. Simcoe, Chinook, Amarillo, & Centennial hops come together to make a fruity & hoppy beer that all you IPA fans will love! You’ll get notes of pine, orange peel & pineapple from this one. Fuzzy Fields Hazy IPA - 6.2% ABV - our not-so-new-anymore year- round Hazy IPA brings the juice! This is an aromatically hop forward Hazy IPA full of citrus and stone fruit notes. Its light silky mouthfeel, low bitterness and assertive hop characteristics create a full flavored highly drinkable beer. You may have seen on our tap list: Cosmic Hop Shower IPA - 7.3% ABV - An American IPA full of pungent hoppiness. Hop pellets were added to the mash! WHOA! This beer was brewed with Cryo Hops and dryhopped with Cryo Hops, brewed with (2) different hop extracts (Spectrum & Incognito) & fermented with Star Party yeast to create tropical fruit notes. This guy is super unique – and truly, out of this world! You may have seen before (but it’s been a while): Single Hop Citra - 7.5% ABV - A big hop forward IPA brewed with a single hop variety called Citra. This beer is full of big aromatic hoppy notes of citrus, stone fruit and hints of tropical fruit. Bluegrassin’ Session - 4.8% ABV - This Session IPA has all of the juicy, piney and earthy hop forward notes you'd expect in an IPA at a crushable abv. Slightly resinous hop profile with notes of peach and pine supported by a light crisp malty backbone. Fresh Faces (totally new): (Names & Descriptions Loading…check back soon) Double IPA Cold IPA Fruited Hazy IPA - Nulu Brewed & Chalk Full of Mango – stay tuned for all the deetz! Channel Surfer 2022 - Nulu - Brewed & a nod to all our hop-forward cans here at West Sixth, this guy uses hops from all our hop static channels to make a beer that can only be called a Channel Surfer! Other & Hoppy: Pennyrile Pale Ale - 6% ABV - Our Pale Ale has a big fruity hop aroma with a taste that follows suit. A subtle and balanced malt character creates a canvas for the hops to shine. Southlandia Hazy Pale Ale - 6% ABV - Originally brewed for our friends at Winchell’s Restaurant in Lexington, this is a slightly lighter New England IPA! It’s full bodied with very low bitterness & a big hop profile of citrus and tropical fruits.
