In this hands on workshop you will discover new ways to refresh your thrift store finds and personalize those basics from Tarjé. Techniques include; traditional tie dye, reverse dye and ice dye. We will start with a live demo of 3 tying methods before you try it yourself. We will then apply this to reverse dying. We will end the workshop with an ice dye demo. Any free time in the class will be used to dye any additional items you brought or purchased from us. All supplies needed will be provided (gloves, aprons, rubber bands, dye, 2 swatches that double as bandanas or tea towels, and one black shirt), instruction and access to our pigment + Blanks Bar. Our Blanks Bar includes: Bella + Canvas t-shirts, Bella + Canva sweatshirts and pants, doggo shirts, socks and a curated selection of second hand t-shirts. You are also welcome to bring up to 5 of your own items. It is recommended to use items at least 50 % cotton, 100% cotton is best. 1 PINT INCLUDED WITH YOUR TICKET. IDS WILL BE CHECKED.
