Description
Duties- Groundskeeper Responsibilities:
The person in this position is responsible for maintaining the grounds, curb appeal, clubhouse, amenities, and other common areas at one or more properties in order to assist preserving the asset and to provide a quality living environment for the residents. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Community Manager.
Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
? Performs daily property walks of tour route
? Ensure that pending move-in units and target units are “market ready”
? Completes basic maintenance tasks including turnover cleaning, light landscaping, and painting with minimal supervision
? Keeps the exterior and interior of the property clear of trash and debris
? Reports potential safety risk or repair concerns to the supervisor
? Make sure that all amenities are clean and neat
? Assist in trash-outs and general property clean up
? Power washing sidewalks, buildings, etc.
? Check smoke alarms & replace batteries as necessary
? Replace switch plates, light bulbs & air conditioning filters
Required Qualifications, Skills, And Experience
· Minimum of a high school diploma
· Some custodial or apartment experience is helpful.
· Ability to communicate and understand the primary languages used in the workplace including, but not limited to, English in order to maintain safety in the workplace and serve internal and external customers.
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
· Must be able to complete scheduled routine tasks quickly and efficiently, without supervision.
