Lawrence is a sweetheart.. he will be scared at first but when he relaxes and he comes to greet you - he is on your lap and plays like crazy.
He had been living at a post office and the elderly woman who was feeding him was getting to where she couldn't feed him much longer and he was clearly a pet previously! So he was rescued…
About 8-9 years old. just had a dental and fully vetted. He tested FIV+ which means he was bitten by another infected cat earlier in his life( Mating and biting is how it is passed by cats and only cats can get FIV (DOES NOT TRANSFER TO PEOPLE)) They can live a long and healthy life -it just means they have a weak immune system so do not let him outside to eat squirrels! He is totally healthy and a FIV cat can live with other cats.
His first adoption failed... his adopter thought he was in the bedroom and as a result locked him AWAY from his food and water and litter for over 48 hours. The rescuer went to find him and found him scared to death and the adopter had no patience even though it was her fault. He does great with other cats it turns out... at least non aggressive ones!
Neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped
Adoption fee $40
