Howdy...been thinking about maybe a once or twice monthly get together of guitar, banjo, bass, mandolin, etc who love the good ole Grateful Dead...maybe like 7-10 on a Friday night. I’m talking about old school jamming in the parking lot or after the show...where skill level, age, sex, race, whatever doesnt matter...just showing up to jam with your instrument. Not even looking to play gigs...just jam dead tunes, learn from each other musically...who knows, maybe make a new friend. I Have been playing for a long time and know a good # of dead tunes to jam along too...but also want others to sing with tunes I don’t know how to play and learn them/jam leads over them. I am really thinking more to get this together in the spring or summer...depending on what’s going on with the virus/vaccines...plus you can smoke/drink if desired in my garage...but want to get names/#’s of Folks interested so we can start with a bunch of people...GD jams are always more fun that way
