Celebrate Roanoke includes 25 unique activities for you and your family. In celebration of our 25th year, 25% of all Sam Bass Showdown ticket sales will be donated to the Byron Nelson FFA. The Sam Bass Showdowns are ticketed activities including: Coleman’s Canine Corral: Come out and be amazed with the cleverest dogs in the west as they put on a fantastic show full of tricks and agility stunts. *Shows are on the hour starting at 12:00 PM and ending at 6:00 PM. These shows will be held in the lot adjacent to Old Oak Street Cottage (301 N. Oak Street).Kelsey’s Cow Patty Bingo: You will place your best guess on the square you think Kelsey's Cows will drop their patty. The cows get 10 minutes to move around 25 squares as spectators await the ‘plop’! Wherever the patty falls, that is the winning square. The winner of each round will be moved to the grand finale where all winner names will be evenly distributed across the 25 squares. The grand finale winning prize is $500 of meat from Heartland Hills Cattle Co. and a deep freezer. *Games on the half hour starting at 12:30 PM- ending at 5:30 PM with the Grand Finale at 5:30 PM. Winner announced at 5:45 PM. This game will be held in the lot adjacent to Hey Sugar Candy Store (111 S. Oak Street). *Kelsey's Cow Patty Bingo require participants to choose a number for their square. Upon arriving at the festival, head on over to the gaming area and choose your number!Peterson’s Pig Penning: Gather some of your favorite partners to come test your piglet penning skills. Your goal is to move the piglets from one side of the pen to the other with no hands! The top 5 best times of the day will win a trophy and other great prizes. *Games on the half hour starting at 1:00 PM - ending at 6:00 PM. Winners will be announced after the last round. This game will be held in the lot adjacent to Chop Shop (309 S. Oak Street). Smith’s Armadillo Races: Place your best guess on the fastest armadillos in Texas. ‘Jockeys’ will be randomly selected from the audience and the race is on!. If your armadillo wins, you get a darn tootin' great time and a fun prize. *Games on the hour starting at 2:00 PM and ending at 6:00 PM. Winners will be announced after each round. This game will be held in the lot adjacent to Chop Shop (309 S. Oak Street). *Smith’s Armadillo Races require participants to choose a number for the winning armadillo. Upon arriving at the festival, head on over to the gaming area and choose your number!*All Sam Bass Showdown games require attendance and no refunds will be issued for no show.
