The Pre-Dental Association of Idaho State University is hosting our second 5k event, “Dash for Dentistry.” This year’s event is being held to raise funds for the Pocatello Free Clinic’s dental practice. The PFC offers free dental care to uninsured individuals who are 300% below the federal poverty limit. The PFC is currently able to see three patients per month for dental treatment, provide four to eight free cleanings once a week, as well as offer dental supplies to those in need. Additionally, nine local dentists accept one patient from PFC per month to provide treatment free of charge. The funds raised will help the Pocatello Free Clinic continue to support our community.
