It’s been said that everything begins with a song. The inaugural Cowgirls at The Cowboy weekend will open with some of music’s most prolific songwriters sharing their hits, and the stories and the inspiration behind the songs.A Jackson Hole favorite, Jenny Tolman has written most of the songs she has recorded on her first two albums, but has also been cut by artists as varied as “The Dude” himself, Jeff Bridges, and the Queen of Country Soul, Jeannie Seeley. “To kick off this kick-ass weekend celebrating powerful women in music,” Tolman said, “I am thrilled to be joined by three of the most powerful female songwriters in music today.”Since signing her first publishing deal at 19, Natalie Hemby has become one of country music's most successful and sought-after songwriters amassing eight #1 Country singles for artists including Miranda Lambert, Lady A, Justin Moore, Jon Pardi, and Little Big Town. Her songs have also been recorded by artists as varied as Alicia Keys, Chris Isaak and Kelly Clarkson. As an artist, in 2019, together with Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris and Amanda Shires, Natalie joined The Highwomen. Their self-titled debut album, debuted at #1 on Billboard's Country chart and won Americana Music Honors & Awards for Album of the Year, Duo/Group of the Year, and Song of the Year for their single "Crowded Table." After two previous nominations, in 2020, Natalie won her first GRAMMY® Award, Best Song Written for Visual Media for Lady Gaga's "I'll Never Love Again," from A Star Is Born.Caitlyn Smith believes if a song doesn’t give the listener chills, it’s not doing its job. That mantra has served her well. Her work has received acclaim from the likes of TIME, Rolling Stone, Billboard and The New York Times. She has toured in support of Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, Sheryl Crow, Little Big Town, Reba and George Strait, and just completed her own 13-city High & Low Tour 2022.Two-time ACM New Female Vocalist nominee RaeLynn continues to carve her unique lane in Country music with her gift for storytelling through songwriting, accented by a one-of-a-kind, electric personality. This opening night of Cowgirls at The Cowboy will be a fully-seated show, and all seats will be reserved and sold by the table (2-top, 3-top, 4-top & single bar seats). Tickets range from $50 to $200 per seat. Tickets will go on sale July 29 at 10am (MT). Must be 21+ to enter.
