POSITION: Vineyards Intern DIVISION: Aquilini Beverage Group, USA REPORTS TO: Project Manager LOCATION: Benton City, WA PAY RATE: up to $20.00 per hour COMPANY PROFILE: Aquilini Group (“AG”) is a diversified family business founded in Vancouver, BC more than 50 years ago with roots in the real estate development and construction industry. SUMMARY: We are looking for a full-time Intern to work with our vineyards team during the harvest months of August through October. The successful applicant is proactive and able to work well autonomously. This is a great position for those interested in a career in Viticulture. Our 1,800+ acres of beautiful vineyards are located in Red Mountain and Horse Heaven Hills, some of the most Premier wine-growing regions in Washington. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (other duties may be assigned, as required) 70% Perform grape sampling according to daily schedule 20% Transport grapes to testing lab and coordinate results data 10% Enter test results into website portal REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Committed to delivering the highest quality work and seeks continuous improvement Strong computer skills/proficiency in MS Word and Excel and data entry Able to operate an ATV Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to learn and apply new processes quickly Effective at prioritizing and excellent time management skills Valid Driver’s License Reliable transportation with mileage reimbursed Ability to work overtime and weekends should the need arise Interested, qualified candidates are invited to submit their resume by clicking the “Apply Now” button at the top of the page.
