It all started in 1780 with great-great-great-great-grandfather Andreas Zimmermann….In the 7th generation, Josef Zimmermann, who took over the winery in 1991 as a trained winemaker from his parents Elisabeth and Anton Zimmermann, proudly continues to run it. The Zimmermann family has inherited the talent of making excellent, high-quality wine by hand. 85% of the Riesling grapes and 15% of the Pinot Noir grapes grow on approx. 3 hectares of vineyards on weathered slate soils on the south/south-west slopes of Bernkastel-Kues in Germany. On this evening we will be led by Greg Sisto of Vivino Select Imports tasting several delicious varieties: 2015 Anton Zimmermann Bernkastle-Kueser Riesling Kabinett2017 Anton Zimmermann Bernkastle-Kueser Riesling Spatlese2016 Anton Zimmermann Bernkastle-Kueser Riesling Auslese2021 Fratelli Ponte Brachetto Please note: There is a $25 reservation fee for each registrant. When you check in at the seminar, you will be given a $25 store gift card. If you do not attend, you forfeit the reservation fee. Once requested, reservations are final. Also note: Seating for our in-person seminars is limited, and strictly advance reservations are required. Due to space limitations, you are only allowed to sign up for one Tuesday seminar per month. You may sign up for as many of the weekend spirits seminars (Certified Bourbon Steward and Sippin' Sundays) as you wish. The event will be held upstairs in our Overlook Room, so stairs are required. Restrooms are located downstairs in the store itself. We appreciate your cooperation.
