Based out of San Francisco Bay Area the band was founded in 2004 by vocalist Greg Ballad, Singers Honee Parks & Wanda Diamond, Bassist Connell Page, drummer Martin Truso and Guitarist Mark Coulter (RIP) The 4 started playing together years earlier and used various Bay Area keyboard playing and often played as a power trio with vocals. The band gained recognition as the most versatile group in the Bay Area because of the wide range of artists and bands covered. Allowing clubs and clients to choose their setlist of songs and the band would deliver the set flawlessly. And this is where The Dream’Set was born. The motto “What’s your dreamset” is the foundation of the band. Covering artists such as Luther Vandross, Barry White, Etta James, Gladys Knight, EWF, Bobby Blue Bland, Johnnie Taylor, and the list goes on. The butter-smooth vocals of Greg Ballad pay homage to all the vocal greats and also has the tenor range and sweet baritone as well. Vocalist Honee Parkks who comes from a gospel background brings the power of Etta James and the smoothness of a Jill Scott. Honee covers many different artists as well, such as Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, and many others. Collectively this band leaves the audience wanting more.
