The General Handyman position is responsible for performing timely repair and upkeep of plant facilities and preventative maintenance of AeroSpec’s equipment. This position is a part time to full time, permanent,1st shift position (Hours: 7-3:30pm with possible overtime). This is not a remote position. Essential Functions: Ensure safe operation of all facilities systems and equipment Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance and repairs on facilities, forklifts, and vehicles Perform various tasks involving general building and facility maintenance including assisting on construction projects, painting, drywall repair, electrical repair, and HVAC Perform general tasks to support AeroSpec staff including setting up rooms/areas for events; moving equipment; loading/unloading and transporting equipment and materials Work closely with all departments and vendors to ensure timely and accurate communication Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: 3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial facilities maintenance or construction Must be able to lift 50 lbs. independently Frequent bending, reaching, stooping; constant walking, standing, and climbing Must be able to train for forklift certification Must be able to operate a variety of hand, powered tools, and electrical devices Experience working in the Constructions Trades a plus Experience as an electrician a plus Supervisory experience a plus   Benefits: Excellent growth and promotion opportunities Competitive wages, dependent on experience Comprehensive benefits package with medical, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits (full time) 401k with company match Training opportunities About AeroSpec AeroSpec is a leader in design-engineer-build solutions for manufacturing.
